These Business Terms & Conditions govern the use of Local Loop by business accounts. By creating or operating a Business Account, you agree to these Business Terms in addition to the Local Loop Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If there is any conflict between these Business Terms and the general Terms & Conditions, these Business Terms apply to business activity.
Business Accounts are intended to help local businesses participate in Local Loop by sharing genuine local deals within their District that support the purpose of the platform and help members reduce everyday costs.
To create and operate a Business Account you must: Be at least 18 years old; Have authority to act on behalf of the business; Provide accurate business information; Operate a legitimate and lawful business. Local Loop may request additional verification where reasonably necessary.
Businesses must select a District when creating their Business Account. Deals are visible only within the selected District. Businesses may not post deals outside their selected District unless Local Loop allows otherwise. The selected District must reflect the genuine local operating area of the business. Providing false or misleading location information may result in account suspension.
Business deals should support the purpose of Local Loop by providing genuine value to members within the selected District. Deals must: Relate to genuine products or services; Clearly describe the offer; Include an expiry date; Be accurate and not misleading; Comply with applicable laws.
There is currently no fixed limit on the number of deal posts a Business Account may publish. Local Loop may introduce reasonable posting limits or fair use policies in the future if needed to support the platform. Local Loop may change posting limits in the future.
To help keep Local Loop focused on its purpose, business accounts must not include external links in deal titles, descriptions, comments or profiles. This includes: Website links; Social media links; QR codes; Online ordering links; Requests to continue conversations through WhatsApp, Telegram or other external platforms. Content that breaches this policy may be removed. Repeated or serious breaches may result in account suspension or termination.
Businesses are solely responsible for: The accuracy of their deals; Product and service availability; Pricing; Honouring published offers; Compliance with UK consumer protection laws. All transactions take place directly between businesses and members. Local Loop does not guarantee deal accuracy, availability or service quality.
To help protect members and maintain the purpose of Local Loop, TeamBalance Ltd may: Review business content; Remove business content; Restrict deal posting; Suspend Business Accounts; Permanently remove Business Accounts where reasonably necessary.
A Business Account may be suspended or terminated where, for example: False business information is provided; External-link rules are repeatedly breached; Deal limits are deliberately bypassed; Fraudulent or misleading content is posted; Applicable laws or these Terms are breached. Where appropriate, suspension or termination may occur without prior notice.
At the time of publication, Business Accounts may post deals free of charge. Local Loop may introduce paid features, subscriptions or additional business services in the future. Businesses will be notified of material changes through the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeamBalance Ltd is not liable for: Loss of profits; Business interruption; Reputational damage; Disputes between businesses and members; Misunderstandings arising from business deals. Businesses use Local Loop at their own risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
Businesses are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including: Consumer protection legislation; Advertising standards; Data protection laws; Local trading regulations. Local Loop does not provide legal advice or compliance services.
Business Accounts are also governed by the Local Loop Privacy Policy. Business information may be collected, stored and processed as necessary to operate Local Loop.
Local Loop may update these Business Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use of a Business Account after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Business Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
