By accessing or using Local Loop, you agree to these Terms.
Local Loop is a community application that helps locals save money together through cooperation. Users can post and interact within their district, including borrowing, swapping, sharing tips, asking questions, sharing local bargains, and giving away things they no longer need. Local businesses may post district-based deals subject to rules. Local Loop does not provide payment services, delivery, escrow, insurance, guarantees, or product inspections.
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
You understand that: Your district is visible to users within your district; Your posts, comments, and interactions are visible to all users within your district; Users in other districts cannot view your district feed.
All interactions between users and businesses are at your own risk. TeamBalance Ltd is not responsible for: item condition, safety, or suitability; missed meetups, disputes, or misunderstandings; losses, damages, or injuries arising from interactions.
You agree not to post content that is: misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent; illegal or promoting illegal goods/services; harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory; spam, repetitive promotion, or off-topic. You must follow the app’s category rules (Borrow, Swap, Tips, Question, Local Bargain, Free Items).
Local Loop is designed to help users reduce spending, but Local Loop does not verify items or users. Users should: inspect items before taking them; agree terms clearly; and meet safely.
Businesses using Local Loop must comply with the deal rules: Deals must be local to one district; Deals must include an expiry date; Businesses may be limited to 2 deals per month; No external links in deal posts (unless explicitly enabled later). Businesses are responsible for the truthfulness, availability, and legality of their deals. Local Loop does not guarantee any deal, price, or availability.
Local Loop may remove content, limit visibility, suspend features, or terminate accounts if rules are violated, with or without notice where necessary for safety and enforcement.
Admins may contact users when necessary for safety, moderation, or account issues. Users may reply only to admin-initiated messages where that feature is available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeamBalance Ltd is not liable for user-generated content or user interactions. Use of Local Loop is at your own risk.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
What We Encourage: Borrowing instead of buying; Swapping fairly; Sharing tips that help others spend less; Asking questions; Sharing genuine local bargains; Giving away things you no longer need.
What’s Not Allowed: Scams, deception, or false claims; Harassment, threats, hate, or discrimination; Spam or repeated promotion; Illegal items/services; Posting personal information about others without permission.
District Respect: Everything you post is visible to users in your district. Post responsibly and kindly. If you see something unsafe or against the rules, use the Report option.
1. General Safety: Meet in public places; Don’t share sensitive financial details; Be cautious with urgent behavior; Trust your instincts.
2. Borrow & Swap: Inspect items before transaction; Agree clear terms (timeframe, condition); Users are responsible for safe use of any item they receive.
3. Free Items: Arrange safe collection; Confirm item condition before taking it; Do not accept items you believe are unsafe.
4. Business Deals: Check deal expiry and conditions; Ask questions in comments if something is unclear.
5. Verification: Local Loop uses verification codes. Never share your code. Admins will never ask for your code or money.
6. Reporting: Report unsafe behaviour. Illegal activity may be reported to authorities.
Emergency: Local Loop is not an emergency service. If in immediate danger, call emergency services.
