Local Loop is a cooperation platform that provides a space for people within the same district to cooperate with one another in practical ways to reduce everyday costs.
Members use Local Loop to: Share ideas and experiences; Borrow items; Swap items; Give away unwanted items; Share genuine local bargains; Cooperate with one another in practical ways to reduce everyday costs.
Local businesses may also participate by sharing genuine local deals within their district.
Local Loop provides the platform only. It does not arrange, supervise or guarantee interactions between members or businesses.
Local Loop does not provide payment services, delivery services, escrow services, insurance, guarantees, product inspections or professional advice.
To use Local Loop you must: Be at least 18 years old; Provide accurate account information; Keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.
Local Loop operates through local districts. Member posts, comments and interactions are visible only within the member's district. Posts published by the Local Loop account may be visible across multiple districts. Comments made on these posts may also be visible to members from different districts.
Local Loop provides a space for cooperation. Members are responsible for their own decisions, interactions and agreements. Before meeting another member or accepting an item, members should use their own judgement and take appropriate precautions. TeamBalance Ltd is not responsible for disputes, missed meetings, damaged items, financial loss, property damage or personal injury resulting from member interactions.
Content shared on Local Loop should support the purpose of the platform. You agree not to post content that is: False or misleading; Fraudulent or deceptive; Illegal; Harassing, abusive or threatening; Hateful or discriminatory; Spam or repeated promotion; Unrelated to the purpose of Local Loop. Posts should be shared in the most appropriate category.
Local Loop currently includes the following categories: Community, Borrow, Swap, Local Bargains, Free Items. The Community category provides a space for members and Local Loop to share ideas, experiences and discussions that help discover practical ways of cooperating to reduce everyday costs.
Local Loop does not inspect or verify members or items. Members should:
Members should only share genuine local bargains they reasonably believe to be accurate. Availability, pricing and stock may change without notice. Local Loop does not guarantee the availability or accuracy of any bargain.
Businesses may share genuine local deals in accordance with Local Loop's business rules. Business deals may include:
Businesses remain responsible for ensuring their deals are lawful, accurate and available. Local Loop does not guarantee any business offer.
To help protect members and maintain the purpose of the platform, TeamBalance Ltd may: Remove content; Restrict visibility; Suspend accounts; Restrict platform features; Permanently remove accounts where reasonably necessary.
The Local Loop account may contact members regarding: Platform updates; Safety; Moderation; Account matters. Where available, members may reply only to conversations started by the Local Loop account.
Local Loop provides a platform for cooperation. Local Loop does not guarantee: Member behaviour; Successful cooperation; Business offers; Item quality; Availability; Outcomes from member interactions. Use of Local Loop is entirely at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeamBalance Ltd shall not be liable for: User-generated content; Agreements between members; Business transactions; Financial loss; Property damage; Personal injury arising from the use of Local Loop. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
